Tropic Cascade™ Lomandra hystrix 'LHWP' PBR

If you need a weeping foliage plant Tropic Cascade™ Lomandra fits the bill, it’s just so weepingly beautiful. It is certainly more compact than the straight hystrix form but what really makes it outstanding is its beautiful weeping green foliage.

This Lomandra hystrix has large fragrant yellow flowers and will not produce seed. Tropic Cascade™ Lomandra is well suited to tropical and sub tropical regions, is drought tolerant and can handle periods of wet feet.

It has survived a period of minus 4 degrees celsius so it can handle moderate frost. It will grow to 60cm high and 60cm wide and tolerate full sun to moderately heavy shade.

It tolerates most soil types and makes a great rain garden plant. This plant loves Queensland but also grows well in colder states like VIctoria, especially in regions like Melbourne.
