Shara™ Lomandra fluvialtilis 'ABU7' PBR

This Lomandra has more flowers than any other fine leaf Lomandra, but that’s just part of its appeal. It has more cold tolerance than any other Lomandra, but surprisingly it is performing extremely well in hot humid areas.

Its ability to survive wet hot humid conditions, or hot dry conditions makes it the great all-rounder. Previous fine leaf Lomandra coped well with the dry, but in humid areas like Queensland they struggled in the wet summers, or in areas that received water runoff.

Shara is the true Australian. Working form Queensland, NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. It even loves the cold of Canberra and Tasmania. It’s fine leaf has a slight blue tone, which contrasts beautifully with its masses of flowers. Shara rated as the best plant for roof top gardens in a recent green roof trial.

Shara has an ability to look good even in poor soils. Shara is the most adaptable Lomandra ever, and possibly even the most adaptable Australian native plant ever released.
